General warranty conditions

It is valid for tires distributed by Sinaopt Kft. and marked with a production number.
Sinaopt Kft. guarantees that the tires distributed by it are free from material and manufacturing defects as follows.

Warranty period:

For the life of the front tread - valid until the minimum tread depth required by the authorities is met - within 6 months from the date of sale, provided that the tire is no older than 3 years from the date of manufacture. For the agricultural tires MRL and TVS 7 years from the date of manufacture. For the industrial tires MRL and TVS 5 years from the date of manufacture.

Within the above periods, the warranty obligation for material and manufacturing defects applies until the original tread depth of the tire has decreased by 3 mm (due to wear) for truck and light truck tires, and until the original tread depth of the tire has decreased by 1.6 mm (due to wear) for passenger tires, provided that the tire is operated under average conditions of use and the installation and operation regulations, as well as the manufacturer's specifications, are complied with.

In the event of extreme road and usage conditions, Sinaopt Kft. reserves the right to regulate its warranty liability differently from these terms and conditions.

The warranty claim cannot be enforced:

• in case of errors due to improper storage
• for installation or operating errors due to failure to comply with the relevant standards and the manufacturer's instructions
• for defects caused by a defect in the vehicle or its accessories, e.g. incorrect adjustment, etc.
• defects caused by accidents, vandalism or other external influences
• for repaired tires
• for failure of tires used for purposes other than their intended purpose
• for defects that occur during racing, speed or other experimental use

Warranty claims must be reported in writing to the distributor or a representative authorized by the distributor, taking into account the applicable laws.

The notification must include the following:

• detailed information about the tire (size, pattern, load capacity, serial number, residual channel depth, brief description of the defect, etc.)
• the date and place of sale, the name of the operator (buyer), the type of vehicle, the location of installation and operation of the tire on the vehicle, the date of removal
• the storage location of the claimed tire
• and in case of a complaint, the invoice must always be attached

Sinaopt Kft. reserves the right to examine and assess the complaint
- for which it has 30 days as required by law ! Sinaopt Kft. will refund the tire recognized as a legitimate complaint at the buyer's request or replace it with a new tire, for which it will give a discount in proportion to the recognized complaint claim and the residual channel depth from the selling price valid at the time of reporting the warranty claim.
